• Turn your Thermostat Down by 1°C - Slight change to warmth but decent saving on your bills
• Consider Changing from Electric to Central Heating
• Cook in bulk (batch cooking)- Plan ahead
• Use smart gadgets to save money on energy
• Buy efficient appliances (A+++)
• Seal the leaks in your home (windows, doors, chimney)
• Unplug appliances that you don’t use regularly
• Switch off screens when you are not using them
• Get a home energy audit
• Compare electricity prices and switch to the best price
• Close your curtains during the night to prevent heat escaping through the windows
• Use a timer on your central heating system
• Switch off your home heating if you’re leaving home for a few days
• Get your home appliances serviced
